RETURNS

At Written Truth our #1 priority is customer satisfaction!  If you are not completely satisfied, you may return any item within 7 days of the purchase date.

 

In order to process your return, please follow these 4 steps:

  1. Fill out our Returns Form.

  2. Once we receive your returns form, we will email you a return authorization with a pdf file of the return UPS shipping label.

  3. Print the return UPS shipping label and place it on the package.

  4. Drop off the package at any UPS location. See ups.com or call 1-800-PICK-UPS for the location nearest you.

When making a return, please ensure the following:

  • Your items have not been altered in any way.  This includes damage to printing, embroidering, or due to washing or decorating.  Altered items will not be accepted.

  • Your return is postmarked within 7 days of the original order date.  Returns postmarked after 7 days will not be accepted.

 

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your product stated delivery date by the designated shipping company, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as hygiene products, etc. cannot be returned.

  • Additional non-returnable items:
    - Gift cards
    - Downloadable software products
    - Some health and personal care items

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (order number, etc.) along with description of undamaged items. Please do not send your purchase back without completing these steps and receiving confirmation from the manufacturer.

    There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
    - Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
    - Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If rejected, then your item will be returned with an explanation of why.
 

  • Refunds will be issued once your package has been received and inspected by our staff.

  • As a courtesy, we do not charge a restocking fee.

  • Any shipping fees paid will not be refunded.

  • Most refunds are issued within 15 business days.

 

Exchanges and Claims:

  • We do not offer exchanges.  You may return your unwanted items and place a new order.

  • Please inspect your order within 72 hours of receipt.  If you received any defective or incorrect items, please notify us immediately.

 


 
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
Please remember to allow 3-5 business days for return funds. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account activity. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@writtentruthclothing.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, all sale items are final and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, the item must be in the original packaging with no damage. If you need an exchange for any other reason, please send us an email at customerservice@writtentruthclothing.com and send your item to: Written Truth Clothing, 1389 W. 86th Street #121 Indianapolis, IN 46260, United States.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be e-mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
